I
was born to be in this business.
Growing
up in a family with a chain of specialty retail stores, and recognized
as a talented artist at a young age, I learned what a powerful influence
presentation could have on consumers, and I developed my own ways
of concepting and producing. While in school I received numerous
scholastic, academic service, and art awards, becoming an accomplished
painter along the way.
At
the age of twenty-four I became a Creative Director at what was
then the second-largest photo studio in the country, where I
managed up to two hundred people. In seven years there I learned
a
great deal, one project
won a Clio, and I received numerous other awards for my work.
Having
an entrepreneurial spirit, I decided to enter the freelance world,
and I've worked as producer, art director, stylist, visual display
designer, and home stager in North Carolina, New York, Georgia,
Florida, Texas, Virginia, South Carolina, Washington D.C. and California.
When working on projects I always think way ahead, the goal being
to create
the
most persuasive visual outcome in the shortest amount of time.
